ARADIA BEAT is the name of a brand new anthology magazine, dedicated to works based on the magical girls genre. We hope to create a new page in comicsdom by showcasing the possibilities of the genre across borders and spectrums!

The creators behind the venture are those of the Aradia Collective, and those who can join are those who belong to the collective and those who do not. ARADIA BEAT is welcome for all creators to join!

something about page sizes, page counts, contributors, release dates, page count per contributor, releases and idk what else

Banner showing off the logo with the 90s subtitle and our mascot wearing a baseball cap backwards. Because she's 2 kewl for skool. The subtitle is in pink and says TGIF the 1990s in the Malcolm in the Middle font. Yes, that is a real font, you're welcome.

Our "magestic" (magic+majestic! ☆) debut issue, "TGIF The 1990s: Thank Goodness It's From the 1990s!", brings back to you a small sampling of flavors and seasonings from the supposed last decade with an identity: the 1990s! Think of American fashion catalogs like deLIA's or British magazines like Top of the Pops, paired with the Japanese comic-influenced stylings of Shojo Beat and SMILE.

"TGIF The 1990s: Thank Goodness It's From the 1990s!" features fashion spreads, cute quizzes, comics about magical girl life and so much more! And included along for the A4-sized (210 × 297 mm/21.0 x 29.7 cm/8.3 × 11.7 in) magazine ride is a small A5-sized (148 × 210 mm/14.8 x 21.0 cm /5.8 × 8.3 in) booklet containing all the art produced for the merchandise for this campaign! Woo-hoo!

We crowd-funded the printing and related merchandise for this magazine anthology on Kickstarter for one month: from January 19th 2023 to February 18th 2023. We asked for $3,500 and reached $3,802 as the final total. We were able to unlock two of our stretch goals, which were trading cards (both digital and physical) and keychains for physical backers.
